    Due to their delicate structure, facial bones are among the quickest to resorb, and as resorption progresses, the tissues surrounding them loosen. Collagen structures weaken and deteriorate due to aging, genetic, and environmental factors. The cheekbone areas sag, the firmness under the eyes is lost, and they droop downwards due to gravity. While a young face is triangular and oval, as it ages, facial features begin to take on a square or rectangular shape. A mid-face lift is a procedure that vertically gathers and lifts sagging tissues. In this procedure, the skin, sagging muscles and membranes, and subcutaneous soft tissue are tightened. Non-excessive neck sagging and lower jaw sagging can also be corrected with this application recently. The ideal location for a mid-face lift, which can be performed from the temple and outer corner of the eye, is inside the cheek.     The neck is the area that requires the most intervention and attention in facelift operations. During the operation, the fat tissue under the neck and chin is reduced, for which the neck skin is peeled back up to the chin. The platysma muscles under the skin are tightened upwards and sideways. The skin is then stretched sideways, and excess skin is removed. If the chin projection is insufficient, the chin is also augmented. This extends the distance between the front of the ear and the chin, providing a more aesthetic appearance as the neck becomes more defined. Neck lift surgery can be considered the most advanced form of facelift.
