After a buttock lift, which requires caution for the first three weeks, the patient should not sit down abruptly. If forced, the sutures can tear the tissue and cause loosening. Since the sutures are very strong, they do not break but rather loosen the buttocks by tearing the tissue. We recommend wearing compression stockings for the first three weeks and sitting very carefully.
