Prof. Dr. Onur Erol, who made a name for himself in world literature with the method he named ‘Turkish Delight’ in rhinoplasty, has pioneered a new technique where cartilage tissue is turned into a paste and injected into areas requiring hard tissue without an incision.<\/h2>\n

The “Cartilage Injector Filler” method,<\/strong> performed by Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Specialist Prof. Dr. Onur Erol<\/strong>, was published with its results in the latest issue of the American PRS (Plastic Reconstructive Surgery) journal, taking its place in the literature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Onur Erol stated that any intervention performed during nose surgery should never make it difficult for the person to breathe. For this reason, Erol stated that operations performed with minimal intervention and preserving naturalness can be successful, and that the new method he developed can be used not only for the nose but also for other areas.<\/p>\n

Dr. Erol stated that with the method he named after himself, areas of the body with depressions that need to be elevated can be filled without incision and trauma, adding:<\/p>\n

“The ‘Erol Method’ can be applied to areas such as bone tissue depressions in the forehead, jaw, and other regions caused by traffic and other accidents, congenital anomalies like cleft palate and lip, noses with excessively deep grooves or humps, and recessed chins. The application results are permanent and successful.”<\/p>\n

“MOST FREQUENTLY USED IN NOSE SURGERIES”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Erol explained that the method is most frequently used in nose surgeries, achieving successful results in correcting nasal asymmetry, eliminating humped appearance, and lifting the nasal tip.<\/p>\n

Erol pointed out that the application is performed under local anesthesia without any incision, and continued:<\/p>\n

“The method is performed without an incision in the nose. Compared to general surgical applications, it is shorter, much more practical, and has a quicker recovery time. The method is based on turning cartilage tissue into a paste and applying it with a specially developed injector to areas requiring hard tissue, without the need for an incision.”<\/p>\n

Erol stated that this method has significant advantages compared to existing applications, and conveyed the following:<\/p>\n

“Because standard repair in this area is performed by incising and peeling back the skin, separating the skin and fat tissue, and then placing cartilage, bone, and fat tissue grafts. In standard repair, these grafts can become noticeable as protrusions or collapse over time, requiring revision surgeries. Rarely is a solution achieved in a single procedure. The reason for this is that the placed graft becomes prominent as our fat tissue thins around 23-25 years of age. Also, since fat tissue melts quickly, continuous tissue reinforcement is needed in areas filled with fat. The new method eliminates both of these problems.”<\/p>\n

METHOD PUBLISHED IN AMERICAN PRS JOURNAL<\/strong><\/p>\n

Erol pointed out that the Cartilage Injector Filler method was published with its results in the latest issue of the American PRS journal, stating, “PRS is the most serious and prestigious publication in the field of plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery worldwide, indicating that a method is accredited.”<\/p>\n

Erol stated that for a method to be considered successful and recommended in plastic surgery, its short-term and long-term results are evaluated, and whether it harms another area of the body and its permanence are examined.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Erol said, “The Erol Method, with its 12 years of results, has been published in the latest issue of PRS. With these results, its success has been registered and has reached a point where it can be announced. The journal describes how the method is used in nose surgeries.”<\/p>\n
