The buttock lift method, which involves suspending buttocks sagging due to laxity with sutures “without surgery,” is applied to structurally low buttocks.
This buttock lift method, developed by Prof. Dr. Onur Erol, is not successful in individuals with very advanced aging and severe skin sagging. In such cases, sagging is eliminated by surgical excision.
Pre-operative Assessment
An individual with sagging buttocks should first consult a plastic surgeon. After the examination, your doctor will provide information on how the method will be performed and what results can be achieved. During this consultation, you will be clearly informed about all types of complication risks and receive advice on what you need to do during the recovery process.
Suspension Technique
The buttocks are lifted with the help of sutures passed through the buttock creases, and since very small incisions are made and the sutures are hidden, no scars remain. Although the scars are visible when examined very carefully in the first few months, they fade over time and become imperceptible.

Anesthesia
The buttock lift procedure, performed under regional anesthesia, takes approximately half an hour, and in some cases, short-term general anesthesia may also be administered to the patient.
What are the advantages of buttock lift over buttock augmentation with silicone?
The buttock lift method, which does not involve placing a foreign substance in the body, allows the patient to return to work the day after the operation. Buttock augmentation with silicone, however, is a rather demanding surgical procedure and is not performed at our clinic. The use of silicone can lead to undesirable results over time, such as deformities in the buttocks and pain due to muscle damage.
Things to consider after a buttock lift
After a buttock lift, which requires caution for the first three weeks, the patient should not sit down abruptly. If forced, the sutures can tear the tissue and cause loosening. Since the sutures are very strong, they do not break but rather loosen the buttocks by tearing the tissue. We recommend wearing compression stockings for the first three weeks and sitting very carefully. After the first three weeks, this risk decreases, and after 6 weeks, no traces remain on the buttocks.
